Work Work Work Work Work.
I worked tonight. I'm not sure what's going on there. I don't think they want me to work there anymore. Whatever, i'm happy they haven't fired me yet, I need the money and I don't mind the job that much.
My parents watch the show 'Intervention' a lot. So I sat down to watch an episode today, because it was on and I was bored. Anyway, the episode is about some adopted guy who's addicted to heroin. Cameraman got footage of the junkie stabbing needles into his bruised and bleeding skin, up close. Nice. That's really what I wanted to see. Then of course, clips of the family crying, "I'm at the end of my rope, I don't know what to do anymore" type deal. That's good. But then it shows the junkie's father, and I learned what exactly was the cause of the junkie's addiction. The father said to the interventioner(or whatever the professional was called) : "You keep describing his addiction as a sickness, but I know that it is SIN. If he had gone to Church with us and read the Bible like we told him to, he would not be this way."
WRONG.
Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, Wrong.
I cannot think of a more ridiculous thing to say. I don't care what the priests and the bishops and the rest of the holy men say, religion cannot solve all of your problems. Sure, it can help you deal for a while, but it is only a placebo. How many times have you talked to God in your life?
HAS HE EVER TALKED BACK?

What the fuck is that about?
Why are some people assholes all the time. All they do is tell you that you're not good enough and how you could do it better. Fuck you. I'd like to see you try. I hate so many things in the world. If you hang out with me you'll probably realize that.
Ok, why am I telling you this? It's not important. Sorry about that. Anyway, I am stressing about our next gig. But don't worry me, we'll do fine. Thanks me, i'm feeling better already.
I don't understand. There are so many things I don't understand. Why do we like music? it's just fucking noise. I love music. I more than love it. I can't even describe how I feel about music, it's too strong. I got an msn virus. whatever, better than swine flu i guess. speaking of which, first confirmed case of swine flu at my school last week! TRIUMPH. we beat all you shitty ass healthy Milton schools to it. SWINE FLU FTW.

Update.
Hey,
So this weekend, May 2 4 is what all the cool kids are calling it, was busy. I skipped school on Friday to head up to the trailer. That's right, I go to a trailer, in the middle of buttfuck nowhere. So it was great there, seeing my friends, sitting around the campfire, swimming in the FREEZING lake. I left at 8 in the morning today so that I can haul my ass back to Milton because BOTS had a show tonight. I think we did pretty good, people seemed to enjoy it despite a few minor screw ups but whatever. Another band that played, called Battle! covered a Minor Threat song, called Filler. Listen to it. Me and a bunch of my friends were all up there singing along, it was great. At one point when we were playing I got the microphone shoved into my face. I thought my lip was cut, cause it hurt pretty bad, but apparently it's fine. Huh.
Anyway, great time. Our next show is with Toxic Holocaust once again at St. Paul's, on June 5th. Prom night bitches. Fuck prom.

Beaten and Drowning in the Gutters.
What is the point?
We try hard. We really do. We have to succeed. It's what we learn from day one. If you don't get through high school, you're a nobody. Stay in school kid, cause if you don't your nothing more than fucking dropout working a dead end job with no future. Why? Because you're not intelligent if you don't have a little slip of paper signed by some bigwig asshole that certifies you as educated. And don't forget to dress well. White shirt and black pants. Don't get tattoos that you can't cover up kid, cause nobody wants to hire some inked up slacker with holes in his ears and and a brain full of drugs. Why is this so important to us? Etiquette. Drilled into our heads since we were born. Music is a great hobby, but you should keep it as that. You've gotta go to class, read this book, write this paper, hand it into this pre-programmed dictator when they tell you. Don't even try to have a say. Cause I make the rules.

practicepracticepractice
Hey movines and borons
So BOTS had a killer practice yesterday. I was so tired last night and I could barely speak, but we got a lot done. I found out, our drummer is terrified to death of spiders. Needless to say, this resulted in endless exclamations of "holy shit man! there's a spider on the wall behind you!" and so on and so forth. We actually chased him around my house pretending we had caught a spider. We didn't even have one.
I hate American Idol and reality television in general(Survivor, Big Break, America's Next Top Model). It's all my parents watch. My favorites are Dexter, Criminal Minds, True Blood, Heroes and House. Hooray. I'm sure you're all riveted to know that.
So, here's my ten songs I've been listening to lately. Listen to them:
1) Check Yr Math - Paint It Black
2) Pits and Poisoned Apples - Kid Dynamite
3) Don't Call Me White - NOFX
4) Showdown - Propagandhi
5) Hegel's Bastards - Cursed
6) On The Bird in The Cage - Have Heart
7) D.E.A.D.R.A.M.O.N.E.S. - Modern Life is War
8) In The End - RAH
9) Screaming At A Wall - Minor Threat
10) Private Eye - Alkaline Trio
Enjoy. I don't care if you do.
So a few days ago my history class went to the ROM on a field trip. Good stuff. If anybodys into history, particularly the French Louis XIV era or thereabouts they have some excellent displays.

First timer.
My first entry. Huh. Interesting stuff.
I'm tired tonight. I work at LaRose Bakery and sometimes I like it, sometimes not so much. I have trouble deciding whether I like all of the people I work with. Some of them yes, some of them no.
So my band the BOTS (Blackout the Sun) have two shows coming up. The first is May 18th, the second is June 5th. That's right, prom night. Who gives a shit? Why would I want to go and dance to shitty music that I hate while wearing uncomfortable clothes with a bunch of people I don't really like? We're playing May 18th with a few band I haven't heard yet, but I'm told a few of them are quite good. That's cool. It would be a bummer to support bands I don't enjoy.....
May 18th, St. Paul's at 5 o clock. $ 10. Hope to see you there.
